QUESTIONING THE UNQUESTIONABLE

Indelible truths, some withered hearts ;

Our existence – a race of carts ?

The man and the rock, his devoted friend ;

Was Sisyphus more than a crumb of sand ?

The answer always lies in the mystery –

A compound of shadows and rays – is that History ?

Destiny is written on the pillar of life’s temple,

We should decipher its code – where should we get a sample ?

Questions constantly melt in our minds,

But only their pale vapour our reason finds.

We simply endeavour to gulp down the stars ;

Though, our knowledge is behind our mortal limit’s bars.

The man and the legend, all in black and white ;

We need a rainbow – so many hues on the pure child’s kite.

We need the nuances – we should polish our soul’s swords

To borrow the colourful harmony of the tender musical chords.

LISTEN ! TOMORROW I DIE!

Tomorrow I die, tomorrow I die!

But the sad question is why, why?

Because of an evil, doomed thought

That to me only desperation brought.

Because of my reason – foolish and blind,

That overwhelmed my soul in dark, in one very kind,

That tempted my feelings and my cursed hand

To kill all that I loved on this holy land.

That convinced my soul – my demon to bite,

I killed even my dear, very dear wife, my pure light,

And this way I remained alone, without her bliss

And I will be tormented for ever not finding my peace.

Listen, listen! As only truth my guilty lips have spoken,

Believe me! Now, my conscience by a storm, mad wind is deeply awoken,

By being sincere, I was set free by my cruel fate

Which constantly reminds me that to change the past is too late.

And today, as I am of everything completely aware

The reality is the most scornful rival that I can no more bear.

Find a solution, easily fooled mind! Tell me when I should die,

When will I pay for my sins. Tell me and don’t lie!
